The energy debate doesn’t seem like it will ever be settled. I think a lot of the reason for the argument is a lack of understanding on all sides – supporters, deniers, lobbies, government, and the general public. The UK had a nuclear vs renewable energy throw down a few weeks ago (that truly was fascinating, by the way), but the confusion, not to mention outright dogmatism, was very evident.
Can’t we all just get along? Apparently not.
Sure, nuclear energy plants melt down and people base jump off of broken down wind turbines, but I’m thinking that our energy future will be a combination of many sources, not just a domination of one. What do you think?
I want to make sure none of us here are confused about various energy sources and their eco-friendliness…or lack thereof. This great graphic created by WellHome Energy Audits will definitely help give you a pretty robust primer on the pros and cons of virtually every energy source we use (or are developing).
What do you think is the best energy source for our future?
